Kingsport Avenue Expansion

Plans have been submitted to West Lothian Council to transform Kingsport Avenue shops onto two levels, increasing the floor space with a 387sqm expansion. The expansion will allow the Dentist to expand upstairs. Creating office space in the middle of first floor which could be rented out to help pay for the expansion.
Also a new Beauty Salon will be located above the current convenience store
The shopping area will be called “Kingsport Shopping Centre” with the names “Kingsport Dental Clinic”and “ Kingsport Beauty Salon”.
Also the courtyard area will be re-landscaped as part of the re-development.

if this gets the go do you think that "Kingsport Dental Clinic" will be closed well the work hapens?

Dont know...
Cause the shop and the hairdressers would have to as well.. which would make them lose alot of money and customers.
Properly would put girders around the building to support the 2nd floor. Dont think the current building would be capable of holding a second floor.

thats what i thought but from the plans u have posted it looks as if it is on top so they might do what i have seen done before and move each shop into a porter cabin

Beatlie School: Lis Bardell reported on the latest situation with the planning application. The SNP group in the council don’t want houses to be built on the site and have proposed alternatives. Etive Walk residents are not happy at the thought of houses being built on the red blaes pitch at Craigs Park. Almond Housing Association had wanted to build new offices there, but the land is zoned for housing. The offer of the upgraded Letham Park is seen as a sop to the residents of Craigshill for all the ‘problem’ facilities that have been placed in the area.

and when i started the bebo for Almond Housing Tenants i sent a E-mail to Almond Housing and never got any reponse from them i have E-mailed them a further 4 more times and still nothing i then sent a msg to them from there online form at http://www.almondha.org.uk/ContactUs.aspx?pid=24 when i seen your post in Livingston Update April 09 about there new HQ and as always still nothing back so i sent wlc a E-mail to ask about planning application for Almond Housing new HQ and any more info they have on them and all i got back was have a look here http://planning.westlothian.gov.uk/WAM1 ... ion=search
and thats like looking for a needle in a hay stack so as you can see they dont like talking to me much lol and some ppl have said its becuase Almond Housing cant keep things from its Tenants and as you can prob see that Almond Housing tell one lot of Tenants one thing and tell another lot of Almond Housing Tenants something completley diifferent and there website is`nt that upto date either so any insight you have im open to subjestions
