West Lothian House Sold

We have heard that West Lothian House is to demolished and the area is to be turned into retail space. What do you think of this? Do we need more retail? Will Livingston miss the iconic building? Let us know what you think on the forum.

I think like a lot of the council buildings (offices, schools etc) it was becoming far too expensive to maintain. A lot of thema re very poorly built and cost far more to maintain than it costs to build a nice new custom built building. Its the same reason that many of the high schools have been replaced rather than done up.
